Hyatt Place New York Chelsea

I loved my stay at Hyatt Place NY Chelsea, I couldn’t have made a better choice. Located in the Chelsea neighborhood, in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, from which you can reach Times Square in just a 15-minute walk. The subway is a few blocks from the hotel, and there are many cafes and services nearby. Rooms are modern and quite spacious, and are always clean. I read some reviews where people complained about the rooms not being cleaned, but personally they always cleaned it for me every day. I booked a room on higher floors with city view, but upon arrival I was given a skyline view room at 33rd floor (free upgrade as mine was not available). The view is absurdly wonderful, it looked like a postcard. On the last day, the city view room being vacant, they upgraded me for free. Falling asleep at the view of the Empire State Building was magical. The staff is kind and polite, the breakfast buffet is very good and super varied and you can have breakfast on the hotel terrace, nice and relaxing. The only problem is with the elevators, where at peak times (8:30-9:30) there is a lot of queue and you have to wait up to 15 minutes. My advice is to anticipate the peak times so you will not have problems. I would absolutely return here!

I really enjoyed the location, with food stores and restaurants close by. The late checkout, extended by an extra hour at no cost, was much appreciated, with the standard checkout time being 12 noon. The cleaning service was excellent, and I value the quality of their work. We booked a room with double queen beds, which met expectations—very satisfied with the size and comfort.

Breathtaking view from 36th floor of the Empire State Building. Waiting time for the elevator was max. 5 min. during breakfast time (except for breakfast time, we waited no longer than 2 min.). Hotel is new, clean, very nice, quiet. The staff on front desk was extremely kind and helpful. Perfect location - subway just around the corner, whole food market 150 m from the hotel.

Hotel was in a great location and easily accessible without being too noisy. Room was clean with a good view, good bed and bathroom facilities. Bar area was good. Full selection for breakfast.
